Serving Our City

God loves this city. We love this city.

Hope Club

Hope Club runs various community activities in the Sparkbrook / Balsall Heath / Highgate area,
such as English conversation classes, stay and play for families and drop-in groups.

Sputnik Arts Collective

We want to contribute to the flourishing arts scene in our city.
We started Sputnik to do just that, providing inspiration, community and funding for faith-driven creatives.
As well as our work in Birmingham, there are now Sputnik hubs in
London, Edinburgh, Bristol, Bournemouth and Falmouth.

Mini Kidz

Mini Kidz is our long-standing Stay and Play Group, recently relocated to the Shenley area of Selly Oak.
It's free, Friday morning fun for pre-school-aged children (including babies).

Serving Seniors

Gathering older people in Birmingham for food, fun and friendship.
In 2008, a small group of people in the chruch decided to put on an afternoon tea gathering for some older people in our community.  Now, the much-loved Time For Tea has happened over 60 times, has served over 200 different people over 6,000 cups of tea! And we have a spin-off group midweek called Senior Life Group.

Run 4 Refugees

An annual sponsored run raising awareness and money for refugee causes in our city.
Run 4 Refugees was born in the hearts of a few people in Churchcentral who felt called to action during the European migrant crisis. Several years on, the idea is an annual reality that has seen hundreds of participants raise over £10,000 to support refugee charities.

The Birmingham Collective

Working together to plant churches across our city.
Faced with the urgent need for the good news of Jesus to go out to the 1million+ people of Birmingham, no one church or denomination can do it alone. Beginning as '2020 Birmingham', we co-launched a partnership of churches that sought to see 20 churches planted across the city by the year 2020 and by God's grace, that goal was reached. Now, the goal is to see a further 30 planted by 2030.
