Ways to get involved
Most of our students are part of Churchcentral South.
As well as our gatherings with our wider CC South family, there's a load of other ways you can connect in.

Breathe
Extended space on a Sunday evening to be with God, worshipping & listening to Him together.
Community Groups
Smaller groups to build a sense of family together and go deeper with Jesus. We’ll eat, build relationship and engage with God. We have student groups, or you can choose from our wider church Community Groups and get stuck in that way.
Central
Monthly gatherings to connect with one another and God. We’ll worship together and explore teaching from the Bible.

International student?
Are you studying in Birmingham but from another country? We can't wait to welcome you. Churchcentral South has members from a range of nations. If English is your second language, we also provide printed notes during the talks. Speak to our Welcome Team to access those.
Teaching topics & values
Over your time as a student in Churchcentral South, we want to help you go deeper in a whole load of themes that we see as crucial to the Christian life.
We also have a few values around how we want our community to be.

Play your part. Be stretched. Grow.
Muck in
Put down roots
We encourage students not to be spectators but to get stuck in and help make Churchcentral all it can be. Students are on loads of our teams helping with welcoming, leading worship and our youth, kids and tots work. Come and grow by mucking in.
Many students have also put down roots and stuck around. Many years on from their Uni days, they now call Birmingham and Churchcentral home and have gone on to lead or play active roles within our church. Might you be one of them?
Our Student Workers
Tom & Emma Parkin
Our student team is headed up by Tom & Emma.
Both were students here in Birmingham and they have been part of the church ever since.
Look out for them at Churchcentral South.
